I will not sugar coat things but the course is tough; while BIOL200 is memorization heavy, BIOL201 requires comprehension and sometimes thinking a bit beyond the course content, which is a challenge for many. The people who taught the classes are nice and pretty helpful. Some questions were detailed like what's the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere (which is around 400 ppm), but other than that, just study with essay questions in mind! I had heard the same thing (that it had been restructured is a lot tougher), but I personally found it to be really easy and enjoyable (class is essentially just reading myths every week then writing a a couple short essays (<1. 201 with Willy last semester honestly wasn't as bad as some people make it out to be, though I'm not sure what the other prof is like.
