Jeep J10 Axle Width, The Wag axles are not.


Jeep J10 Axle Width, Trying to insure that my new 1977 Jeep J10 can be hauled with a UHaul Auto Transport Trailer. The housing widths are the same as a Your front axle only needs the 8 lug outers and brakes swapped on to nearly equal a 3/4 ton D44 front. Trying to compare axle dimensions from early & late CJ, narrow track, wide track, etc. Edit: Actually they are slightly wider (and inch or two) because the eight lug outers are wider than six lug.
