Building momentum summer camp. Join us for our summer and winter camps to conquer new heights, make lasting memories, and build a foundation of active play centered around climbing! The STEM Committee is delighted to partner with Building Momentum to offer three STEM-focused Workshop this summer! During Camp 1, Scouts will have the opportunity to earn the Electronics, Model Design and Build, and Entrepreneur Merit Badges and the Next Big Thing Nova Award. Students that add a 3D printed part to their artwork will also learn some CAD design. May 15, 2015 ยท Students may elect to powdercoat/paint portions of their sculptures or even 3D print a stand or sculpture component. Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis until space is filled. From climb time, to large scale obstacle courses, building drones, and 3-D printing this week is jam packed with activities. Momentum is known for creating adventurous camps that foster self-discovery and exploration through a variety of activities both on and off the climbing wall. Students in this camp are offered a unique experience to learn in a smaller setting from one of today’s leading apologists and Christian authors, ask questions, have conversations, and get on-the-ground training. In summer 2024, two different weeklong camps will take place on the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville; campers also have the option to stay overnight in a campus residence hall.
